1977 was the last year for BRM in the Formula One World Championship. The BRM P207 was known as "Stanley-BRM" and was sponsored by Rotary Watches.

On the team were Len Terry who designed a new monocoque with engine/gearbox supported by a tubular carrier. Aubrey Woods was responsible for the 60 deg. V12 four valves per cylinder engine. Alex Stokes worked on the five speed gearbox.

Argentina 9/1/1977	Larry Perkins did not have the opertunity to show the car's paces as the crated car did not fit into the aircraft from England.
Brazil 23/1/1977	Larry Perkins qualified last, six seconds behind the next car. P207/01 retired on the second lap with overheating.
South Africa 5/3/1977	The P207 was not taken. Larry Perkins qualified 22nd out of 23 in P201/04. Larry finished 15th and last, five laps behind the winner
Race of Champions 20/3/1977 (non-championship race!)	Larry Perkins qualified 14th of 17. P207/01 did not start due to structural problems.
USA(West) 3/4/1977	No cars entered.
Spain 8/5/1977	Connie Anderson in P207/01 did not qualify, being six places and two seconds away from a start.

Belgium 5/6/1977	Connie Anderson in P207/01 did not qualify, being one place and almost a second away from a start.

Britain 16/7/1977	Guy Edwards used both P207/01 and P207/02 but failed to pre-qualify
Germany 31/7/1977	Teddy Pilette in P207/02 did not qualify, being six places and over two seconds away from a start.
Austria 14/8/1977	No cars entered.
Holland 28/8/1977	Teddy Pilette had both P207/01 and P207/02 but did not qualify, being seven places and over one and a half seconds away from a start.
Italy 11/9/1977	Teddy Pilette in P207/02 did not qualify, being seven places and over one and a half seconds away from a start.

The last year of the team's world championship activity became less and less visible until it finally disappeared. Only Ferrari (with it's massive financial backing) was able to carry the crushing weight of design and construction of chassis, gearbox and engine.

For 1978 the Stanley-BRM contested the Aurora AFX British F1 Championship. Teddy Pilette was unable to make any real impression.
